As an annual tradition, gipsy guitarist Manito will again perform at the Catharinakapel in Lemiers on Sunday afternoon, 31 August.

With enchanting guitar sounds and fiery improvisations, Manito will tell his “story” to his audience. The repertoire includes both cheerful rumba flamenca from the Camargue and wistful gipsy romances.

All facets of life return in his sometimes inimitable playing. A concert by Manito is a must for lovers of the Spanish guitar and is a feast for the eyes and ears. He is named after the French guitar legend “Manitas de Plata” (1921-2014), the ancestor of the Gipsy Kings.

With its murals and good acoustics, the Catharina Chapel is a wonderful ambiance for such a concert. Time: 15:00-16:00.
