The Rolduc Hunting Horn Players will celebrate their 60th anniversary on Sunday 25 May with the Dutch Hunting Horn Blowing Championship at the atmospheric Rolduc Abbey grounds in Kerkrade.
They became Dutch champions in 2024 and this year they are hosting the best hunting horn players in the Netherlands for this prestigious event.
The society is a close-knit, diverse group with Dutch and German members aged 27 to 80+. You can enjoy more than just music: there are performances by international corps, a falconry show, covered wagon rides and a fair with local produce and old crafts.
The Winzer of Rolduc open their vineyards and the abbey brewery offers an exclusive look behind the scenes. The day will end festively with music by Sumavanka, known for their Bohemian and Austrian sounds.
Admission is free. Come to Rolduc Abbey on 25 May and experience a day full of music, tradition and local culture!
