Since 2016, the GOM Meerssen Foundation has been organising the Santa's run. This is a Truckrun for people with disabilities.
The Santa's run is a trip that tours for more like two hours through the various municipalities in South Limburg such as Meerssen, Valkenburg aan de Geul, Voerendaal, Simpelveld, Gulpen and more.
This is accompanied by lots of lights and sound from around 100 participating trucks. Every year, it is wonderful to see all those happy faces. Both of the passengers, drivers, volunteers and also the people who come to watch along the route.
Many sponsors, volunteers and truckers dedicate themselves every year to ensuring an unforgettable day for all people with disabilities, their families, friends and all other interested parties!
