On Sunday 20 July 2025, archery society St Hubertus Ubachsberg will organise the South Limburg Federation Festival (ZLF). The ZLF is the second largest archery festival in Dutch and Belgian Limburg.
Archers represent a tradition dating back to the Middle Ages. They form a unique piece of culture: a paragon of Limburg folklore and pride.
During the archery festivals, marksmen compete with each other: who marches the tightest? Which marksmen has the best band? Who has the most beautiful king and queen? And of course: who can shoot the best? An event with historical uniforms, music and shooting competitions. Your eyes will feast!
Some 50 shooting societies take part in the ZLF. The competitions and festivities take place on Kolmonterweg. From here, the marksmen will march in full regalia through the streets of Ubachsberg from 13:30.
Do you too not want to miss this unique archery festival full of sound and colour? Then make a note of 20 July 2025 ZLF!
