This unique holiday home was created around centuries-old beams, using clay, stone, steel and glass. A place with a soul, designed with love and respect for its historic character, but with a modern twist.
You get the best of both worlds: you’re close to cities such as Maastricht, Liège and Aachen, yet you can just as easily walk or cycle straight from the house into the hills. It’s a wonderful place for families with children, but there’s plenty for adults to enjoy too.
You have your own private courtyard with a dining table and several seating areas. The covered farmhouse gateway is a lovely place to relax on hot or rainy days – perfect if you enjoy spending time outdoors. And don’t forget to unwind in the infrared sauna.
In the shared meadow (accessed through a gate a few houses down), you can picnic, play, jump on the trampoline, play football, sunbathe, barbecue... or bake delicious pizzas in the authentic wood-fired oven.
On the ground floor, you’ll find the toilet, kitchen and living and dining area. From the living room, you can look all the way up to the ridge of the roof, while the large glass frontage lets in plenty of natural light.
One floor up, you’ll find the spacious bathroom with a washbasin, shower and toilet.
In the attic, there are three bedrooms, each sleeping two people. There’s also an extra living area with comfy beanbags where you can read, listen to records or play games.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, induction hob, Nespresso coffee machine, convection oven, crockery, pots, pans and everything else you need to prepare a delicious meal. Prefer not to cook? Just 150 metres away, you’ll find a café, snack bar and restaurant. There are plenty of other places to eat and drink in the surrounding area too.
You can park your car for free in front of the house or in the public parking area a short walk away.
