The river Geul from the village of Mechelen to Epen

Zuid-Limburg at its best! The babbling river Geul is one of Limburg’s jewels.
On this hike of 5,4 km you follow the course of this stream from the village of Mechelen to Epen. A real valley hike with little difference in altitude and cosy pubs on the way for a great pint of Limburg beer!

This versatile route of 7,6 km includes everything that makes Zuid-Limburg fun. Convivial pavement cafes, authentic half-timbered houses, churches, lush hillside forests and rolling grasslands. You will come across them all on this hike, in the beautiful surroundings of the village of Schinnen.
