Feast your eyes on a real knightly combat! Every first Sunday of the month, the “Knights of the Heerlijkheid Hoensbroek” gather and swords clash across the castle grounds. Sword fighting is their passion, and you can admire their fighting skills from the front row.

Watch a real knightly battle
The knights are ready to welcome our castle visitors on the first Sunday of the month from 10:00 to 17:00. From their camp, they tell medieval stories and demonstrate ancient crafts. At 1 p.m., you can watch the knights battle each other with their swords. Afterwards, the youngest knights themselves will do battle with the knights during the kiddy battle.
