Come face to face with real knights!
Feast your eyes on a real knightly battle! Every first Sunday of the month, the “Ridders van de Heerlijkheid Hoensbroek” gather and the clash of swords echoes across the castle grounds. Sword fighting is their passion, and you get to admire their skills from the front row.

Experience a real knightly battle!
The knights are ready to welcome you on the first Sunday of the month from 10:00 to 17:00. From their camp, they tell medieval stories and demonstrate traditional crafts.

At 13:00, you witness how the knights engage each other in combat with their swords. Afterwards, the youngest knights can join the fight themselves during the kiddy battle.

For safety reasons, no sword fighting takes place in case of rain. These activities are included in the entrance fee.
