Cauberg Valkenburg aan de Geul

When it comes to bicycle mountains in the Netherlands, the Cauberg is immediately mentioned. And rightly so, because this world-famous mountain has already been executed in many cycling races. World Championships, Amstel Gold Races or the Tour De France were decided on this hill. Contrary to popular belief, however, the Cauberg is not the toughest climb in South Limburg.

The Cauberg ultimately has a length of just under a kilometer and an average gradient of 6.5%. However, the height difference of 51 meters certainly causes sour legs. De Cauberg is located at the foot of the pleasant cycling town of Valkenburg with its terraces and attractions. He therefore certainly appeals to the imagination the most.
