Do you also want to get to know them, the American soldiers who gave their lives for your freedom? Then visit the American Cemetery in Margraten with the guide of Soldiers' Stories Margraten!

During the tour, the passionate guide tells you about the lives and sacrifices of about ten soldiers, who died during World War II. You will meet soldiers from different army units and backgrounds. By showing photos, these soldiers also get a face.

Why this tour?
Impressive personal stories that capture the imagination. You will discover the person behind the cross or Star of David. You will gain more insight into the high price of war and freedom. You will also learn more about the history of the cemetery. 

Roses will be handed out to place on the graves visited as a tribute.
The selection of soldiers' stories varies per tour so the offer is very diverse.

Dates and registration
Dates can be found in the Activities Calendar and on the website. Pre-registration via the website is necessary and easy. Scheduled tours only go ahead if there are registrations. Contacting us for a separate (group) appointment is also possible.

Practical info
Price: free of charge.
Duration: 1.5 to 2 hours.
Start: at the American Cemetery near the Mirror Pond, right in front of the tower.

Available languages: Dutch and English. English tours only on request. Please contact us for this. 

Also suitable for children (10 years and over) and young people.
