The Amstel Gold Race is the most famous annually recurring cycling classic in the Netherlands and the only Dutch one-day race in the UCI World Tour. The race has been organized since 1966, and in 2026 the 60th edition is already on the calendar.

On Sunday, the Markt in Maastricht forms the vibrant setting for the start of the Amstel Gold Race. The women will start first at 09:55, followed by the men at 10:40. After the start, the peloton winds its way through the beautiful South Limburg hilly landscape, passing municipalities such as Stein, Sittard-Geleen, Voerendaal, Gulpen-Wittem and cycling city Valkenburg. The finish line is located between Berg en Terblijt and Vilt, where the women are expected around 14:00 and the men will finish at approximately 17:00.
Not only Sunday, but the entire South Limburg region is dedicated to the Amstel Gold Race throughout the whole weekend. There is plenty to experience, and the cycling weekend has grown into an event of world-class level.
On Saturday 18 April, the Toerversie Amstel Gold Race offers a platform for no fewer than 15,000 international recreational cyclists to participate.
