The parade is part of an entire weekend of festivities: the Augst Cultuurfestival. With a varied programme and plenty to experience, the festival offers something for all ages.
There is a programme for everyone, including an afternoon for seniors and people with disabilities, as well as a special children’s afternoon. In addition, young and old can enjoy two evenings where age doesn’t matter and music takes centre stage.
Thanks to its rich tradition and unique parade, the Augst Cultuurfestival has earned a place on the Nationale Inventaris Immaterieel Cultureel Erfgoed.
