A unique film evening on Friday 5 September in the atmospheric surroundings of De Biesenhof farmhouse in Geleen! Surrounded by meadows and woods, you can watch the beautiful and comical film The Penguin Lessons (preview - film release at the end of October). 

A compelling true story about an English teacher who leaves for a school in Argentina in 1976, where he not only encounters a difficult class, but also a penguin that he rescues from an oil-polluted beach. 

Fancy a bite to eat at De Biesenhof before the film? Choose from chips with sour meat or vegetarian pasta. Refreshing soft drinks (pick your favourite!). And a delicious ice cream to finish. 

Reservations can be made from 5 p.m. The evening starts at 7.45 p.m. with live music by Phie Enswie. Film starts at 8.45 p.m. (with intermission). Bring your own blanket or chair. 

Parking is available at De Biesenhof. The film will go ahead even in bad weather. Read the terms and conditions when purchasing your ticket.
