The versatile Argentinian artist Celina Eceiza transforms Marres into an immersive, tactile environment that unfolds like a pleasure garden filled with textile surprises.

She draws and colours on enormous pieces of fabric, creating a wide range of images through painting, writing and embroidery. Her work often refers to artworks and artists who inspire her, as well as titles and quotes that are meaningful to her. Large bodies, kissing couples, imaginary creatures and enormous flowers also feature prominently.

The result is a house filled with sensual, warm and colourful environments, where you can find peace and inspiration in an alternative universe that invites you to discover and experience it with all your senses.

In addition to the exhibition, the project includes a series of workshops and a public programme on Friday evenings, which are free to attend.
