On Wednesday evening, 5 November, the boys' choir Dzvinochok, conducted by Ruben Tolmachov, and the girls' choir Vognyk, conducted by Olena Solovey from Kyiv, will give a joint concert in St. Servatius Basilica in Maastricht. Start: 7.30 p.m.
The Dzvinochok boys' choir has been coming to the Netherlands since 2002. Due to travel restrictions and military service, older boys from Dzvinochok are unable to participate in foreign tours. That is why a collaboration has been established with the Vognyk girls' choir.
The choir performs religious and folk music from Ukraine. Their mission is clear: they sing for their country, for peace. Ukraine standing together! Admission to the concert is free.
At the end of the concert, there will be an opportunity to make a donation. This money will be used to support children in the choir who have been traumatised by the war and wounded soldiers.
