Pilgrimage in Honour of Our Lady of Perpetual Help

Our Lady of Perpetual Help is deeply revered in the Philippines. For many years, Filipino Dutch Catholics have made a pilgrimage to Wittem on the Sunday closest to her feast day (27 June) to honour her together.

At 3:00 pm, a festive Eucharistic celebration in honour of Mary will take place in the monastery church, prepared by various groups of Filipino Dutch Catholics.

The celebration is held in English, as this is the language spoken by many Filipinos living in the Netherlands. Half an hour before the service, a Novena prayer service dedicated to Mary will be held, also in English.

The pilgrimage is organised by members of the Filipino community, but everyone is warmly welcome to attend.

Time: 2:30 pm – 6:00 pm.
