On Sunday 26 April, the Euregionaal Living Statues Festival celebrates its fifth edition in the centre of Kerkrade. Between 12:00 and 17:00, you can enjoy around 28 living statues, various street theatre acts, music and a festive atmosphere throughout the entire city centre.
At the Markt, a special children’s area will be set up with glitter tattoos, games, live music and the opportunity for children to experience for themselves what it’s like to stand still as a living statue. The scouting group will also be present with fun and active children’s activities, giving kids plenty to discover and do.
You can also take part in a treasure hunt along all the statues, with great prizes to be won. The event is free to attend and is aimed at both residents of Kerkrade and visitors from the wider region.
The organisation once again expects thousands of visitors, who can look forward to a day full of wonder and experience.
