Awarded at various national and international competitions, Kaat Schraepen is recognized as one of the most remarkable violists of her generation.
David Voncken performs as a soloist with several orchestras under conductors such as Dirk de Caluwe and Matty Cilissen. He is a first prize winner of the Princess Christina Competition in Maastricht and Belfius Classics in Brussels, and also a prize winner of the Walter Gieseking Competition in Saarbrücken.
He performs in venues such as La Monnaie in Brussels and Theater aan het Vrijthof in Maastricht. Together with pianist Peter Caelen, he gives concerts in the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Hungary, and Indonesia.
Their program includes works by, among others, York Bowen, Claude Debussy, and Johannes Brahms.
