On Saturday 4 October, the Dutch Mountain Film Festival is organising a special evening dedicated to mountains, film and wine at the Royal Theatre in Heerlen. 

First, the French documentary “The Hills of Wrath - a winemaking epic”, the debut of director Léo Boudet. This will be followed by a wine tasting of the most delicious Limburg wines in collaboration with Vinitor and Land van Kalk, with musical accompaniment by Marc Huijnen (trumpet) and Rik Huijts (guitar). 

The visually and aurally stunning “The Hills of Wrath - a winemaking epic” fits perfectly with the grape harvest that takes place in late September/early October, including on the slopes of South Limburg. Local grape pickers and winemakers have therefore been specially invited to the wine and film evening.
