Experience the Graduation Jazz Fest of the Maastricht Academy of Music, where Bachelor and Master Jazz students take to the stage for their graduation concerts.
With no fewer than 32 performances spread over four days, from 14:00-23:00, you can enjoy new, fresh sounds every hour. After years of dedication and thousands of hours of practising, writing, arranging, composing and rehearsing, the students are ready to surprise you with their musicality, creativity and their own sound.
And it will end with a bang! On 20 June at 10pm, the Maastricht Conservatory Big Band will play, led by the students and the expert accompaniment of Sven Heinze.
After a multi-faceted year full of projects (including collaborations with John Beasley and other departments during the very first Moving Music Festival), the Big Band will treat you to a best of from their programmes this year.
