On 19 September, the exhibition entitled “Het Paradijsvogelnest” (The Bird of Paradise Nest) will open in the Nieuwe Galerij in Heerlen. Hanneke Krook from Atelier Inter-K will be exhibiting thirteen of her students' works.
They will be showing figurative works, mainly portraits and models. The exhibition is open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon to 5 p.m. Participating artists are:

On the opening day, Friday 19 September, the Nieuwe Galerij will be open from 12:00 to 21:00. The official part will start at 16:00 with live music by Ashna Jaafer (vocals), Bryan Roumen (guitar) and Sebastiaan Krook (percussion).
At 5.15 p.m., Councillor Jordy Clemens will perform the official opening. After this, the festivities will continue until 9 p.m.
