On Saturday, July 4, the event Heuvels en Helden will take place at the Shimano Experience Center in Valkenburg aan de Geul. This sporting event is dedicated to raising funds for cancer research in Limburg.

As a participant, you can walk, run, cycle, or gravel ride and take part at your own level. The event is open to a wide audience, ranging from individual participants to teams from companies and associations.

The event raises money for Kankeronderzoekfonds Limburg. Participants pay an entry fee and are encouraged to raise additional sponsorship funds.

During the day, there is also an opportunity for reflection at Château St. Gerlach. Here, people affected by cancer are remembered and honoured. After the event, a festive programme will take place at the start and finish area, featuring entertainment by DJ Admin and Wir Sind Spitze.
