High Hi returns to Heerlen!
After performances at Rock Werchter, Pukkelpop and a sold-out show at AB, one of Belgium's most popular indie pop trios is returning to Heerlen! With their new album Noonday Demon, High Hi once again delivers an energetic mix of danceable indie pop, powerful guitar riffs and dreamy harmonies. On Thursday, 10 December, you can experience High Hi live at Nieuwe Nor!
The Antwerp-based trio, consisting of Anne-Sophie Ooghe (vocals, guitar), Dieter Beerten (vocals, drums) and Koen Weverbergh (bass guitar), started out with a dreamy, shoegaze-inspired sound. Over the years, their music has evolved into a refined balance of introspective lyrics and catchy melodies.
Following their successful breakthrough album Firepool in 2020, featuring the hit single Daggers, the band released the ambitious album Return To Dust in 2022. With their latest album Noonday Demon, High Hi once again proves that they can push musical boundaries without losing their distinctive and accessible sound.
