Come and enjoy the Hubertusmarkt in the heart of Gulpen on 7 November! The market is free to visit and offers something for all ages. The first Hubertusmarkt in Gulpen was held in 1544. This year marks the 482nd edition!
This annual market also offers plenty of activities for children and guarantees a day filled with fun, great food and Burgundian hospitality. Once again, there will be a Cittaslowplein and around 150 market stalls!
What can you expect?
The Hubertusmis starts at 10.00 a.m. in the Sint Petruskerk in Gulpen, which is also when the Hubertusmarkt opens. After the service, a blessing of the horses will take place at the main entrance of the town hall. The horses will gather there to receive a blessing from the dean.
Once again, market traders from all over the country will be there! With hundreds of pitches, you will find all kinds of products for sale: from clothing to handy gadgets, from shoes to freshly smoked eel and a wide variety of regional products.
A large number of traditional crafts and demonstrations of skilled handiwork give the Hubertusmarkt its unique character. Of course, the international Cittaslow quality label will also receive special attention!
