Java - Webster is the name of a new album written and produced by Erwin Java and Sean Webster. This collaboration came about after the two musicians hit it off while working together on the theatre production The Sound of the Blues & Americana.
Because this tour was disrupted several times by lockdowns due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Java and Webster decided to put those periods to good use and started writing new songs of their own.
The lyrics and music on Java|Webster are therefore written by both of them, and of course the blues is the common thread. The album contains ten songs ranging in style from blues, ballads, rock and soul. Characteristic are Webster's gritty, weathered voice and bluesy guitar parts.
