On Thursday, 9 July, MFC De Grous in Stein will host a special international musical encounter.
During Kiwi Adventures, the Wellington Brass Band from New Zealand will perform together with Société Saint Martin Fanfare de Stein.
Wellington Brass is one of New Zealand’s most successful brass bands and is travelling to Limburg to participate in the World Music Contest (WMC) in Kerkrade.
Ahead of the competition weekend, the band will give an exclusive concert in Stein. During the evening, both orchestras will present a varied programme featuring concert works, solo performances, and music from a range of styles and traditions.
The concert offers a unique opportunity to experience top musicians from the other side of the world up close and to discover the international brass band culture.
Start time: 7:30 pm.
