Ladiesfair Maastricht brings together fashion, sustainability, and a good cause in the run-up to Mother’s Day. On Saturday, May 9, the Sterzaal on Bredestraat in Maastricht transforms into a paradise for fashion lovers.
You can shop sustainably for high-quality second-hand designer clothing. Soroptimistclub Zuid-Limburg and Zonta Mergelland are joining forces for the Ladiesfair: a large-scale collection initiative where the sale of second-hand designer clothing takes center stage.
All proceeds from the event will go to the Quiet Community in Maastricht. The funds are specifically earmarked to support women and girls living in poverty.
What could be better than treating yourself or your mother to a beautiful outfit during Mother’s Day weekend, while at the same time helping women in your own city who are facing hardship? That is the essence of the Ladiesfair: women supporting women. Fair, right?
