During Christmas Town Valkenburg, a fairytale parade (Landal Christmas Parade) winds its way through the old streets of the town twice a week*. The historic centre provides a spectacular backdrop for the light parade with richly decorated floats and groups of dancers in beautiful costumes.

With a Christmas song composed especially for Christmas Town, it is almost impossible to stand still while watching. The lights, dancers, floats and infectious music make the Landal Christmas Parade one of the biggest crowd pullers in Christmas Town Valkenburg every year.
Route
Grotestraat Centrum, Berkelstraat, Hovetstraat, Walramplein, Gosewijnstraat, Th. Dorrenplein, Dr. Erensstraat. The parade passes by in about 25 minutes.
When?
Until 5 December every Saturday, then every Wednesday and Saturday.
Wednesday from 7 p.m.
Saturday from 7.30 p.m.
There will be no parade on Wednesday 24 December. Last parade on 27 December.
Please note!
Berkelstraat and Grote Straat will be closed prior to the parade. Make sure you arrive on time if you want to watch here. Walramplein will remain accessible on foot throughout the parade.
Visitor information
For visitors to the Landal Christmas Parade, there are public viewing areas at the following locations: Walramplein, Gosewijnstraat, Th. Dorrenplein and Dr. Erensstraat.
Tip!
If it is very busy, go to Walramplein. There is always plenty of space here.
Come during the week!
Visit Christmas Town Valkenburg during the week. It can get very busy in Christmas Town Valkenburg at the weekends. Visitors who come during the week will enjoy more space and better service.
