The Limburg Youth Symphony Orchestra celebrates its 15th anniversary with a major jubilee concert conducted by Matty Cilissen. As a renowned conductor, he is associated with Harmonie St. Petrus en Paulus and the Philharmonie Brainport, among others.
Central to the programme is Wagner's impressive Ring suite (Scenes from the Ring - Der Ring ohne Worte). Several (inter)national soloists will participate in the anniversary concert: Marjon Lambriks (soprano), Kim Savelsbergh (soprano), Huub Claessens (bass-baritone) and Lei Wang (violin).
The Limburg Youth Symphony Orchestra aims to enable young musicians aged 14-25 to play music at the highest possible level in a full symphony orchestra. The orchestra consists of students from conservatoires, music schools and young talent.
