Long Course Weekend Netherlands is not a standard triathlon, but a unique three-day multi-sport event in the heart of Maastricht.
From 22 to 24 May 2026, it is all about freedom, challenge and experience. You choose which disciplines you participate in: swimming, cycling, running - or all of them. No stress from direct transitions: each sport has its own day. So you can make the most of each challenge, at your own pace.
On Friday, the weekend starts with an open-water swimming race in the beautiful Fun Valley. On Saturday, you get on your bike for The Maastricht Bike, an impressive ride through rolling South Limburg. And Sunday you finish with the Maastricht Marathon, with distances for every level and a red carpet finish as icing on the cake.
Whether you are a seasoned athlete or just want a taste of a new challenge, LCW Netherlands offers the perfect mix of sport, atmosphere and freedom. Compose your own sports weekend and experience Maastricht at its sportiest!
