From 31 August to 1 March 2026, the Wijlre Castle country estate will present Hidden Messages, an exhibition by artist duo Marta & Slava.
In their work, they explore how plants send signals to humans and create a fictional world around the Mandragora Institute.
Through paintings, drawings, sculptures, and installations, Marta & Slava demonstrate how nature and culture can be allies in thinking about the future.
Their poetic, ironic, and melancholic works invite you to reflect on hidden communication in nature. Hidden Messages is on display in the Coach House and the garden of the country estate.
