The Mergelheuvelland 2-Daagse (Mh2d) is a versatile cycling weekend where you explore the heart of Zuid-Limburg by road bike, mountain bike or gravel bike.
On 19 and 20 September, you’ll discover everything that makes this region so special: rolling hills, characteristic villages, forests, gravel paths and wide-open views. The Mh2d tours revolve around one clear core value: genuine Limburg cycling enjoyment.
The routes are carefully designed and clearly marked, allowing you to fully focus on cycling and enjoying the surroundings. Whether you choose long, challenging distances or more accessible routes, every ride offers its own experience and shows the Heuvelland at its very best.
As a road cyclist, you ride along well-known and lesser-known Limburg roads, with climbs you’ll feel in your legs and views you won’t forget. On your mountain bike, you head through forests, over hills and along streams, on routes suitable for both dedicated riders and adventurous beginners. The gravel routes also offer plenty of variety: from quiet gravel paths to technical sections, with newly refreshed routes each time. Every day, you can choose from multiple distances that suit your level.
Along the way, you can take a break at strategically placed refreshment points to refuel and enjoy the atmosphere. Clear signage and GPX files provided in advance ensure a carefree cycling experience.
With Mh2d, you can take part individually or take on the challenge together as a team, for example with colleagues or friends. There are also special packages for (company) teams, where sporting challenge and team building go hand in hand. This way, you experience a complete cycling weekend where sport, nature, atmosphere and shared enjoyment come together.
Social involvement also plays a role. You can give your participation extra meaning by actively supporting this good cause.
