It's 2026 and Merol is back: fiercer, more vulnerable and edgier than ever! With her new album Leve De Feeks under her belt, she's heading to Nieuwe Nor for an electrifying show as part of Wintertijd Heerlen!
With her bold, rebellious and outspoken Dutch-language electropop, Merol perfectly captures the spirit of the times. In 2018, she burst onto the music scene with her hit single Lekker Met De Meiden. Since then, she's been unstoppable.
This year, she's taking a new musical direction, packed with wild electropunk and influences from rock and techno. On her new album, she reclaims the word 'feeks' (shrew) and frees herself from the shame surrounding her body, sexuality and desire to have children.
Her music remains rooted in synthpop and electronic sounds, but this time it's rawer and edgier than ever.
