The Mosa Jazz Collective, a big band consisting of the “fine fleur” of Limburg jazz musicians, meets every two months at the Muziekgieterij to share its love of big band music with the audience.
This time with special guest, Simon Oslender. This energetic, groovy evening is not one you want to miss! Simon Oslender, born in Aachen (1998) is a “shooting star” of the European Jazz scene. Known as a pianist, organist and composer for his energetic playing, he is a “first-call collaborator” for bandleaders such as drum legend Wolfgang Haffner, “World starsinger” Thomas Quasthoff and sax icon Bill Evans.
In recent years, Simon has played with jazz greats such as Randy Brecker, Ivan Lins, Gregory Porter, Dr Lonnie Smith, Nils Landgren, Nathan East and many more.
