Music, a lively atmosphere and traditional Zuid-Limburg brass music come together during Muziektreffen in Sint Geertruid. On Sunday, 6 September, you can enjoy a wonderful day of music for all ages at the De Hoeswej festival grounds.

The day starts at 12.00 pm with a traditional Frühschoppen, followed by a musical opening featuring ten Limburg music associations and a colourful street parade through the village. Wind orchestras, brass bands and a traditional marksmen’s association create a unique atmosphere and bring the musical traditions of the Heuvelland to life.

After the parade, the programme continues with a variety of musical performances, activities for children and plenty of opportunities to enjoy Limburg hospitality. Are you on holiday in Zuid-Limburg or do you live in the Maastricht-Heuvelland region? 

This is a wonderful opportunity to experience the vibrant local club culture, traditional brass music and characteristic atmosphere of Sint Geertruid. Admission is free.
