Experience a unique fusion of live music and film! This winter, the National Youth Orchestra of the Netherlands, composed of the country’s finest conservatory students, presents a captivating and cinematic programme featuring music by Strauss and Holst.

A special highlight of this concert is the new Symphonic Cinema film starring Emma Thompson and Greg Wise — a film created especially for the musical work The Planets.

During the concert, director Lucas van Woerkum synchronises the film live with the orchestra’s performance. Dance enthusiasts will also be delighted: the film features a major role for young dancers from the prestigious Arts Umbrella Canada.

In short: an evening of music for art and culture lovers from all disciplines, and for anyone looking for a bright spot in the month of January.
