If you are interested in permaculture and food forests (or forest edges), or if you are curious about community gardening, you are more than welcome.
On Google Maps and Facebook, you can find several posts about de Wij. Many people have been inspired by what has naturally grown there simply by “doing”.
You can taste homemade organic apple juice, and perhaps someone will feel inspired to bake something. Coffee and tea are available, and you are also welcome to bring your own picnic.
Bring a towel if you would like to cool off or paddle in the river during nice weather. In case of rain, it is recommended to wear clothes suitable for muddy conditions. A simple toilet is available.
Fun for children: making witch’s soup, playing in the stream (or with a tub of water), crawling through the underground tunnel, picking and immediately eating fruit, searching for little creatures, and much more.
