The garden ‘Wendies passie voor kruiden’ is located in the countryside near Epen. From the garden, you can enjoy wide views over the hills, grasslands, and forests.
The garden consists of two traditional high-stem orchards with sheep, a toad pond, an edible hedge, many trees and shrubs, medicinal herbs and wild plants, deadwood hedges, and hawthorn hedges.
Around the house, an old half-timbered farmhouse, there is also an ornamental garden area with a large terrace and flower borders rising upwards from the terrace. This means the garden has many height differences.
As a herbalist and enthusiastic gardener, owner Wendie is happy to share her passion for gardening in harmony with nature and the many ways herbs can be used in the garden.
Several times a day, she gives guided tours through the garden. Ecological seeds, seedlings, and walnut oil are available for sale, and on Sundays also beekeeping products. Coffee and tea are ready for you. Fun for children as well! Parking near the garden is limited. Alternative parking is available in Epen.
