The St Matthew Passion is back! Magnificent choral passages and exquisite arias lift the soul. This year, Benjamin Goodson, Chief Conductor of the Groot Omroepkoor, leads Philzuid in a performance of Bach's timeless masterpiece.

They are joined by the outstanding choirs Studium Chorale from Maastricht and Schola Puerorum from 's-Hertogenbosch, while acclaimed soloists including baritone Roderick Williams and soprano Sophie Bevan complete the cast.

The British conductor Benjamin Goodson has previously collaborated with the Berliner Philharmoniker, the London Symphony Orchestra, and visionary stage directors such as Robert Wilson and Thomas Guthrie.
