Philzuid has made it a tradition to welcome the New Year in spectacular style—and 2027 will be no exception. With a varied programme full of musical surprises, the orchestra brings its festive New Year's concerts to venues across Limburg and Brabant.

A small preview: Ramon Wolkenfelt, principal trumpet of Philzuid, shines in the dazzling Trumpet Concerto by the Armenian composer Alexander Grigory Arutiunian. Expect a spectacular work brimming with energy and inspired Eastern European melodies.

Celebrated Dutch baritone Raoul Steffani also joins the festivities, performing a selection of beautiful arias by Albert Lortzing, Johann Strauss and Franz Lehár.
