Expect a richly varied programme featuring works by the great masters Beethoven, Mozart, Schumann and Vaughan Williams. The concert includes one of Mozart's best-known violin concertos, the Violin Concerto No. 5 "Turkish", completed in 1775 when the composer was just nineteen years old.

The soloist is the young Belgian violin sensation Luna de Mol, who has rapidly established an international career. She also performs The Lark Ascending by Ralph Vaughan Williams, one of the most evocative and beloved works in the violin repertoire.

The programme concludes with Schumann's Symphony No. 2, a monumental symphonic work in which the composer transformed his inner struggle between light and darkness into music.
