Opus 16 Concerten presents a special musical evening on Saturday 24 January at Kapel Opveld, featuring the piano duo Michelle Lynne & Dimitri Malignan.
In a captivating programme full of contrasts, they take you on a musical journey from Bach and Brahms to Philip Glass, with a special highlight: the world premiere of a new composition by Adam Vincent Clarke, written especially for this duo.
The programme brings together arrangements of Baroque and Romantic masterpieces with contemporary sound worlds, including music by Gluck and Glass, allowing past and present to flow seamlessly into one another.
The evening opens with performances by students from Conservatorium Maastricht: Sara García Montenegro (flute) and Manuel Bon (guitar), who will perform Café 1930 by Astor Piazzolla and the Romanian Folk Dances by Béla Bartók.
