Ramkot is a musical wrecking ball from Ghent with a patent on powerful yet danceable rock that spares neither head nor hips. After two EPs and a victory in De Nieuwe Lichting in 2021, their debut album “In Between Borderlines” will be released in early 2023, a razor-sharp 25-minute uppercut that targets neck and leg muscles.
The accompanying tour takes them to sultry venues (AB, Depot, Trix), sun-drenched festival stages (Pinkpop, Down The Rabbit Hole) and even as the opening act for Metallica in Amsterdam. In just under a year, the tour clock has ticked over 100 shows.
For their second album, released at the end of 2024, the Leyman-Leyman-Cuyvers trio enlisted the help of a producer. With Alain Johannes (Queens Of The Stone Age, Eagles Of Death Metal, Them Crooked Vultures), they spent three weeks in the legendary Rancho De La Luna studio, famous for The Desert Sessions by Queen Josh Homme. Expect a show full of heavy yet danceable rock!
