Live music, young bands and a festival right in the centre of Heerlen. On May 2, Spoorplein will transform from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM into the site of Sumire-Fest.
During this small-scale festival, six bands will perform across different music genres: Liou, Jazz Cats, Ray-Man & The Lizards, Mercy Jones & The Benefits, Unfounded and Sumire. Sumire consists of three young, motivated musicians: Tim, Mees and Lorenzo.
During the festival, the band will close the evening and also present their new EP. Sumire-Fest originated from the initiative of Pluun Pintér, student, organiser and band manager of Sumire.
The event is made possible entirely on a voluntary basis by young musicians, organisers, photographers, audiovisual creators and other creative volunteers from the region.
The festival is free to attend. This choice was made consciously, as many events nowadays are expensive. Discover new music and experience a festival where music comes to life.
