The exhibition Steekhoudend focuses on the power of contemporary textile art, in which four artists—Mia Meijers, Joyce Overheul, Karin van der Linden, and Roos Roberts—show how textiles today serve as a versatile medium for personal and social narratives. 

The starting point is historical household textiles from 1900–1970, which serve as both inspiration and material for new, contemporary works. This creates a compelling interaction between heritage and innovation, where past and present meet.
