Songwriter, guitarist, singer, songwriting/guitar teacher and band coach at Rock Academie Tilburg. He played (plays?) in the band Blowbeat and has also released a series of albums, with lyrics written in the dialect of his hometown Helden Panningen.
From a young age, he has been fascinated by quintessential singer-songwriters such as Randy Newman, Tom Waits, Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan and Neil Young. But also by the other end of the spectrum, where musical boundaries are pushed even further: The Beatles, Frank Zappa, Little Feat, King Crimson, Steely Dan and Peter Gabriel.
The organisation is delighted that Ton will perform in Puth at the community centre Oud Limburg. In an intimate acoustic session, together with master guitarist Eric Coenen, he will perform songs from his new album as well as his greatest hits.
