In 2026, the J.M. Vogl-stichting voor de zangkunst returns to Margraten with a remarkable new concert entitled Wiener Mélange. This festive programme celebrates the music of Vienna, the city of song, the waltz, and operetta.
For this special occasion, the world-renowned bass-baritone Robert Holl will travel from Austria to Margraten. Holl is a living legend in the world of art song and is widely regarded as one of the foremost interpreters of Schubert of our time.
Together with the tenors Mark Heines and Mitch Raemaekers, baritone Vincent Kusters, and pianist Roger Braun, he will perform a selection from Schubert’s magnificent music for male vocal quartet. Soprano Fenna Ograjensek joins the ensemble in several of the songs.
After the interval, the enchanting world of Viennese operetta takes centre stage, with solo performances by the singers accompanied by Enrico Delamboye, featuring beloved melodies by Johann Strauss, Carl Millöcker, and Franz Lehár. Roger Braun and Enrico Delamboye will also perform Geschichten aus dem Wienerwald as a piano duet (quatre mains).
