On 11 and 12 October, South Limburg will be the scene of the Bolero UCI Gravel World Championships. The best gravel riders in the world will gather for this unique event, which is taking place on Dutch soil for the first time.

With a start in Beek, a beautiful gravel route through Beekdaelen and a spectacular finish on the Groene Loper in Maastricht, the province of Limburg will once again put itself on the international map as a leading cycling region.

The course will lead riders over beautiful gravel roads in Beekdaelen and the hills of South Limburg, with a mix of gravel lanes, forest paths, country roads and climbs. The longest distance features a 50-kilometre lap with 70% gravel and almost 2,000 altimeters.

Both elite riders (m/f) and qualified amateurs participate in this championship.
