During this afternoon, you'll discover Stembevrijding and meet Jan Kortie. He is coming to Limburg for the very first time to lead a Stembevrijding workshop and a Mantra evening.
Jan invites you into his joyful vision of singing and Stembevrijding. It's not about methods or vocal techniques, but about the art of freeing yourself from the constraints of how things are 'supposed' to be.
At times the experience is light-hearted and playful; at others, calm and reflective. Chances are you'll go home feeling uplifted, with even more confidence in your own voice and your ability to sing. The guiding principle of Stembevrijding is simple: your music is you.
Throughout the afternoon, you sing together, creating space within yourself and in connection with others. Jan Kortie, founder of Stembevrijding, accompanies the workshop on piano. The Mantra evening Het Lied van de Ziel in Wittem is the perfect continuation of the afternoon. Together they form a beautiful whole, but you're also welcome to attend either session separately.
