From 25 to 28 June, Brunssum will once again host the World Dance Festival Parade Brunssum. For almost 75 years, this international festival has brought together national and international dancers and cultures.
For four days, the Vijverpark will be filled with music, dance and connection under the motto ‘One World, Many Stories’. Folklore dance groups from various countries travel to Brunssum to share their traditions.
Through music, dance and colourful costumes, they tell stories about their culture and history, often rooted in traditions that have been passed down for generations. In the Vijverpark and the centre of Brunssum, performances follow one another in a varied and vibrant programme.
Besides the dance performances, there is plenty to experience: dance sessions in the town centre, dance workshops, children’s activities and festive evenings with live music and DJs. The festival is not only about performances, but above all about meeting and connecting with one another. Let yourself be carried away by rhythms from all over the world!
